Prioritization Fail

I’ve got tens of thousands of things to do. No, literally–it’ll take that many stitches to get me ready for Christmas gifting. It seems like I’m behind on reading approximately that many blog posts, too. So, if I usually leave you likes and comments, trust that I’m not ignoring you! I’m just, well, behind. The situation isn’t completely dire. I have about a third of a blanket to go as well as a hat and another approximately hat-sized project and I’ll be good.

However, I can’t bring myself to work on much beyond my non-gifting-related Wayfarer Hat test for which I’m using madelinetosh tosh DK in stunning Cousteau. Really, can you blame me?

The colorway is even richer IRL than in the pic.

Here’s hoping your gift knitting is farther along than mine!

I’m so far behind I haven’t even started anything, so I just told everyone I wasn’t going to craft stuff for this xmas. Too much going on, I can’t force myself to knit like a maniac to finish stuff in a week. I’ve finished charity hats and mitains, and I’m looking forward to knitting something cool, relaxing and fun for myself. Good luck with all those stitches !

That Cousteau is lovely. I don’t blame you. It is loco for all of us this time of year. Do what you can. Make sure you have Plan B’s.

First that colorway is gorgeous. Madelinetosh can do no wrong. I too have been procrastinating. I just have the sleeves left on a sweater gift but I started making myself a sweater instead of finishing it. Oops!

Totally understand! I am about 3/4 way through one cowl and still have one more to complete my Christmas knitting. I can’t wait to finish and start my new test project and get back to my Hermione socks 🙂 That colorway is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see your progress!
